there doing a classic thor centric story and simonson is considered the leader of thor artist/creators.

Oliver coipel would have been preferable but he is busy.

i humbly Retract my previous LOUD Objections to simonson's placement here, i still would have prefered Yu staying on period, but simonson's work here is alot better than his recent avengers work, so im happy.

colorist is good, classic colors but it has alot of layers and detail in the colors, so good.

Meh. While I love Simonson's run on Thor and respect him as an artist, I don't enjoy his current work that much. It was great back in the day, but the style is just so far removed from current styles that it is clashing. I would definitely prefer the prior artist to just continue through.

Bite your tongue, there is nothing "far removed" about Walt's style. in fact I can make the argument that Walt is better now than he was in the 1980's. Guys like Lenil, Olivier and myself worship Walt Simonson. We wouldn't have jobs if it weren't for artists like him making it possible .

I do not get it either..."far removed"? Wot does Walt's art have to do do with wot's being done currently? Especially as you have so many talented artists of vastly varying styles...from Ribic to Ramos. From Pachelli to Pagulyan. From Coipel to Casselli. Classic art is just that...classic...and timeless.

It's one thing to say you don't like it...it's not your preference...but don't go comparing Picaso to Rembrant.

You have no artistic taste, seriously. As the father of a 4 year old who draws, you have no clue what you're talking about.
