Seems the preview pics from issue 17 spoil that Kaine's form from the end of last issue isn't gonna be permanent.

I guess that big Kraven arc that was supposed to happen last year got pushed back a bit. I"m a sucker for Aztec mythology, so i hope the payoff with Arcely is worth it. And it's too bad Ezekiel is dead, 'cause I wouldn't mind him showing up here.

I am going to start picking this up, I hate the costume, but if they keep that outfit, I will give this a shot.Big fan of picking up Barberi on this title, plus the 2.99 price tag makes it a lot easier to pick up.

Can't wait for barberis art, wolverine vs scarlet spider, this is gonna be great. Really grown a liking for kaine. Just hate a lot of the art on his current title, barberi should fix that

I really do hope the sales on this book keep steady so Yost can get to everything he talked about here (& hopefully beyond) because this book is great.

I've been loving this book, but cannot say I am happy about the 'Other' development. I kind of feel like, with Dr. Octopus as the current Spider-man, we don't need to go down the grimdark path with Scarlet Spider.

Regardless, it has been great so far, so I'll trust in Yost and keep reading.

Edit: Also, I really liked Pham's work. Going to take a wait and see attitude with Barbieri; some of the preview art looks good, and some of it less so.

I'm only a little iffy on the last page shown, because Kaine looks a bit odd, but that might just be the lack of color. That said, even that page is leaps and bounds better than the best of what Pham has done on Scarlet Spider. I'm definitely looking forward to the art change, even if it's probably not going to get us back to how good it was with Stegman, Barberi looks like he'll jump to being the 2nd best artist to work on the book right now.
