Layouts look better than Daniel's JL. Wonder if that's Diggle's doing.

    Looks promising.

Although I AM looking forward to Mr Diggle's work...a part of me was hoping to see another name as the writer...

Looking forward to reading this, though

Finally a new artist on Action Comics after that the series was artistically a mess in the last year.

I'm definitely keeping Action for at least the first few issues of the run after seeing the preview. I just hope it doesn't tie into Lobdell's Superman too much because I have no clue what the Oracle is and I know Lobdell introduced that in one of his issues that I didn't read.

Wow. I don't know what problem some people had with Daniel but I've loved everything I have seen so far from this guy. Even in JL where the coloring let his pencilling down a bit in some places. Superman's body language and those images...love it.

Does DC pick the artist or does the writer do that? Because it should come to no surprise that the art was bad. Morrison is usually paired with those artists that can on do squiggly lines for some reason.

Morales's art was great in the first two issues at least. But he proved way too slow and his art got terrible from being rushed.

If I remember correctly Rags Morales was chosen by DC (Matt Idelson).

Wasn't the Oracle (and herald) introduced by Perez, with the first visual of the Oracle being in a Lobdell-penned issue while the first appearance of the Herald was in Superman issue 1?
