I really like the kind of books that Boom! is publishing. It's really a vast wide panel for everyone. OK, the books are not cheap, but they are still at the same price since a lot of time. It's not like the "others" with their so called "free digital issue" or their 20-page story (or the both!!!).

What a new reader must know is that at Boom!, an "ongoing" title may be a "maxi" series. They are releasing a lot of mini-series very well done, printed on an excellent deluxe paper (so, no surprise with the stapling process) with a high grade of ink colours. So, the price of their books can really be justified.

As I have not bough a trade, I can not speak on what I do not know at all.

I hope that they will do a new Elric maxi-series and a new Valen The Outcast mini-series too!!! And why not the "spoken" "Dune" series...

I will give a try to the Hellraiser franchise (which is one of the best horror movies), and I already have signed for the "Suicide Risk" since the first teaser of the cover.

Frankly, Boom! is to be now considered as a Premium partner for Diamond and as one of the best publishers in the US.
    2000 AD of course!!!

You should also try Deathmatch. It's one of my favorite comics currently. I'm also on for Suicide Risk. I remember seeing the solicitation for the Dune Free Comic Book day edition and was really disappointed when it was canceled. Anyway, who wrote Valen and what was it about?
Pull List: Transformers, Green Lantern, Batman Inc, Justice League, East of West and Deathmatch.

Wish them the best of luck.
