The first issue is free. Not sure if that's going to continue or whether they'll be free for a limited time or not.

I really like the idea of these, especially seeing as the point one issue only covered Quill getting back on the team. It also will hopefully allow us to jump right into the action once number 1 hits shelves.

The Drax one was alright. Can't wait to see what Groot has been up to, though I always just assumed that him and Rocket were just chillin' on some awesome buddy adventures.

I don't know if you read it yet, but it appears they are keeping all the Annihilation stuff. It shows what Drax was doing after Annihilation (and I believe Thanos Imperative).

except not, because drax was killed in thanos imperative and peter was stuck in a collapsed universe.

it read like it was rolled back to the point where the team found out mantis had encouraged them to form gotg.

Bendis has said that he's going to explain how Star Lord and Thanos got out of the Cancerverse, presumably he's also going to explain why Drax isn't dead. I hope so, at least. I think they're not starting the reintroduction of the team with that information because they are trying to be new reader friendly.

Really hope they expand the whole Infinite concept. They are so much more fun to read. Feels faster and easier to read.

We all know Peter is back and I assume we'll get an explanation, so his existence hasn't been retconned yet. And we all know that Drax will be alive as long as Thanos is around, so no surprise there.
