Brian Wood posted over in the other thread that was already started about this.
The delay was due to the passing of a person related to someone working on the book. I thought this information should be noted before any of the haters start chiming in.
Thanks for getting that in there. People are quick to jump to conclusions around these parts without full information, so it's good that Wood at least came out and gave us something.
Why aren't you reading Winter Soldier? You should be!
That's a bad news. But I'm patient.
Say No to decompressed storytelling!
unlike cassday on uncanny avengers, coipel on this is worth the wait
Thanks for the info on the cause of this delay. It didn't make sense that the reason was characters in use in other books. Wolverine books would never get published if that was a concern.
As long as the team on the book stays consistent, I'm OK with waiting.
Cassaday is the least of UA's problems, frankly.
Last reveal page was a real groaner, and would have been even if Moebius was drawing it (god forbid).
I agree, Cassaday's work on Uncanny Avengers were nowhere near as good as what he did on Astonishing X-Men in my opinion. Both Wood and Coipel make this worth the wait for me. I feel bad for Remender the backlash he gets from those delays. Being that I prefer that title over his Captain American (not a huge JRJR fan) it is hard to stand the delays. It should get better next month though. I trust im Wood/Coipel to do great work. Most of us here aren't comic book professionals so we don't really know all that plays into delays. Wood shows up often enough that you most likely will get a response from him in this thread too...
That's bad and sad news but like the poster above me said, his and Coipel's work is worth the wait.
Why do I have to like Rogue and Sunfire, there's only UA.
I'm very sorry to hear that. My condolences go out to the person who suffered the loss.

Anyway, comparing the delays with X-Men with that of Uncanny Avengers is like comparing apples to oranges that very slowly draw pudgy-faced men and opiate-high women.

The Best There Is At What I Do
Definitely sad to hear about the artist's loss, but... now I'm kind of excited this book is coming out on my birthday. So... happy birthday?
