That is an absolutely terrible title for an ongoing series.

I like it. The problem is because of the movie, many people thought the comic was going to be called Man of Steel too. And then of course they were going to criticize that too.

Isn't this going to be a mini series and not a ongoing?

Why does it have to have a backup! Why DC!

No, it's an ongoing. I guess once Snyder's done with the biggest most fantabulous Superman story he can possibly write, he'll just churn out whatever for the following couple of years.

Good thing the didn't make the title sound like that soon-to-be-released Superman movie, and instead made it sound like that other movie.

DC just can't get enough of milking their fans forcing extra pages on their high profile books whether you want them or not.

While the title is terrible, it does match the old NYCC teaser image. $4 pushes it out of insta-sub status for me, but with Snyder and Lee in charge, not to mention Nguyen doing the back-up, I'll definitely give the #1 a shot.

Django is what comes to my mind upon reading the title.

Haha exactly. I don't know why, but basically everyone was under the assumption that it'd be called Man of Steel. Where did that rumor even start?

But yeah, I'm fine with the title. It shouldn't be Man of Steel, too much confusion with the movie, and I can't think of a better name myself, so I like it.

You're making fun of this guy's excitement to write stories about his favorite characters?

I'm just going to be uncomfortable with Superman using the "n" word so much.

At least the title will match "Superman: Unbound," which will come out in the spring time on DVD/BluRay.
