Wow WB can't even keep track of their own product. I hope that Kevin Tsujihara can change things around now that he's CEO.
His focus is laying the seeds now for Earth 2 and the main Earth to meet by approximately the end of next year, a plot line which was announced at the ECCC: DC Comics The New 52 panel earlier in the day. “Even though that seems a long way off, I’ve got to start setting that up,” he said.
Well at least this sounds like we won't be waiting until the sixth year this book is out for the JSA to finally get together! See, this is exactly as I've said before, that Robinson sometimes needs something to light a fire underneath him to get plots moving forward over his preferred style of glacial pacing. If Worlds' Finest Power Girl and Huntress returned to Earth 2 and there was a second book by a different writer set there, it would keep Robinson on his toes to not go too slowly with his work. This is the ONLY criticism I have of his writing BTW, as I'm still a fan of Earth 2 as a title, but it does slump along a bit here and there.
Pull list:
Adventure Time, Batgirl, Batman & Robin, BOP, Earth 2, Guardians of the Galaxy, He-Man, Katana, Nightwing, Shadowman, Swamp Thing, The Ultimates, Ultimate Spider-Man, Worlds' Finest
I'm sure that the title that was delayed was the Earth 2 spinoff series.
Comic Books are fun, Comic Book fans not so much.
Besides face time with fans, a major part of the writer’s attendance at comic conventions is announcing new titles. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case this year. “I was supposed to announce something and it has been delayed. It will be announced in a few months,” said Robinson.
His future plans include developing something for DC, but Robinson wasn’t able to share the details.
Has it been said anywhere that there is actually an Earth 2 spin-off series being considered? As so far I haven't heard anything, but I only really read CBR for my comic news most of the time. I'd LOVE for there to be either an Alan Scott solo spin-off or an Infinity Inc. book.

Heh, the confusion by WB over Green Lantern is a bit amusing.
Anyway, if there is a spin off, I would really like the idea of Infinity Inc. It would just help restore those characters again like Obsidian and Jade.
I am Apocalypse! Look upon the future and tremble!
I am as far beyond Mutants as they are beyond you. I am eternal.
Evil? I am not malevolent, I simply am!
Does that mean that the brass at WB think that Dick Grayson died this week too?
Recommended Comics:
Star Wars: Dark Times,
Richard Stark's Parker by Darwyn Cooke,
Transformers: More Than Meets the Eye

"Warner Brothers, however, was confused: did this mean that star Ryan Reynolds, who played Hal Jordan in the 2011 film adaptation of “Green Lantern,” would be gay?"
Maybe at least one or two of the executives essentially in control of DC Comics should actually read and be familiar with the comics themselves. Just a thought.
Warners is a huge corportation who's interest include way more than DC Comics. The film division prolly got confused an contacted Geoff who straightened them.

Time Warner isn't nearly as well run as Marvel or Disney.
They know about the ones that make them money: Thats Batman, with a sprinkling of Superman.
For something like the Golden Age Green Lantern I can see that being something they go to consult the film division about. I agree that the film division needs someone in charge of the comic films like how Marvel has Kevin Feige. Someone who has intimate knowledge and real love for the MU who's doing a great job showing what makes each character in the Marvel movies.
