Bendis is the Woody Allen of comics, in more ways than one. When it's good, it's twee, schmalzy, and completely over the top. When it's bad it's incestuously awful.

Finally the Uncanny X-Force storyline with the celestial seed and the 'death' of Warren is being handled. I still feel O5 Angel will be the one who defects over to Uncanny X-Men. Since that's happening in #10, now is the time to start making him realise he's also dead like Jean, except unlike her with him no one gives a shit. Come to think of it does our present day Cyclops know about Uncanny X-Force? Psylocke was still misleading him in Uncanny X-Men Tabula Rasa arc.

Why is it that we finally get the angel interaction and instead of actually accomplishing anything we just get two pages of "uh...well...it'll freak you out." Bendis.


Angel's status after Dark Angel was never really shown to be revealed, aside from iceman and Kitty. I would assume the utopians found out during AvX when he came to help, but we never saw any reaction.
