I wonder why the shift from DC to IDW, aside from reduced overhead.

Why aren't you reading Winter Soldier? You should be!
A Samurai Jack comic sounds pretty good to me. Even better if they could get a Sym-Bionic Titan comic to continue that storyline considering the show's success on Toonami.
I guess this mean Boom will lose out on the Adventure Time & Regular Show once the license runs out?
I never understood why series like this end up with IDW, 'cos IDW charge a flat $4 per issue, which to me seems counter intuitive when trying to capture children.
Pulling: Whispers, 2000AD, Red Sonja: Unchained, Amala's Blade, Princeless
I want all of them. Thanks for listening IDW!
DC didn't want them. Other than Power Puff Girls and Ben 10, none of these are current shows. (PPG returns this fall.)
I wish CN would unclench and likewise allow DC Nation to go to a network that (a) wants the shows and (b) will treat them with enough respect to actually air them.

Awesome! Here's hoping we get a conclusion to the Samurai Jack's story.![]()
So much for corporate synergy...
Always remember this stuff isn't real.
I wrote about this on my blog earlier. I was a fan of Ben 10, the Powerpuff Girls and Samurai Jack. It should be great for pulling in not only younger readers but also people who were fans of those cartoons. Though the $3.99 price point may not win some people over.
I've found more IDW books in the used book market-so a kid can get those book less than $3.99.
However I don't think that $3.99 is going to turn off adults-since it's a book for the kid (and them).
That's not really a high price when you look at kids books. I have seen plenty with less pages at higher prices.
After 30 days IDW books are $1.99 on Comixology. Cheap enough for kids.
