I eagerly wait for this. It will shock many by being a success.

That's a pretty solid team there. Josh Trank directed Chronicle. Hopefully that's an indicator he can introduce big sci-fi in a live action, believable manner. Matthew Vaughn is great. I'm kind of meh on Millar, but I suppose that's better than not consulting anyone from comics. I'm guessing "Ultimate Fantastic Four" is what we can expect here.

In all I'm more excited for this than any of the Avengers stuff.

meh it's OK. Vaughn is hit and miss with me. I don't think his films have a particular creative voice.

As long as they go with a CGI Thing as opposed to Michael Chiklis in a rubber suit then I will give it a shot.

    That suit, ugh, so fake.

I'm more excited for Trank's involvement than anything. I'm obviously using the one movie he's directed so far as a gauge for what he'll bring, but I thought Chronicle was one of the best entry into the sci-fi/super powered character genres in the last few years.

I'm reserving judgement until I've seen a trailer. So far, I'm not quite sold on the idea.

I would be super happy if Gruffud and Alba were recast.

Oh please god, not teen FFers and Ultimate Goat Leg Doom. I'll take my Fantastic Four Classic, thanks. I'd be quite keen on having the Fantastic Four set up already, maybe even Franklin and Valeria in there. I'd like the dysfunctional family vibe Incredibles had coupled with a healthy dose of Kirby-style sci-fi. To me, that's the essence of Fantastic Four/Future Foundation.

Yeah, they really should go straight to having them set up. This could be a really High-concept Sci-Fi series.

    Can he do that ....

Let those who worship evil's might,
Beware my power... Green Lantern's light
