    Default Uncanny Skullkickers, #1

The UNCANNY SKULLKICKERS: Two hard-headed mercenaries kill monsters and cause havoc in their search for money, fame and adventure! A bold new direction! A perfect jumping-on point! A newly added adjective! Our nineteeth issue, but also a new issue #1! It's all here, people! Don't make us use more exclamation marks!!
P.S. Retailers: Rack this comic beside other "Uncanny" comics you may have hanging around and sell a ton of copies. Do it.

I gotta remember all the adjectives for the new issues. Uncanny, All-New, and Savage, right? Not sure how my LCS's will sort them...
Comics were happier before the Internet turned writing superhero stories into fruitless attempts to impress/entertain a small group of ppl who appear to hate comics and their creators.

On one hand I love what he did with Shorty on the bottom of the page... it's clever s*** like that makes Zub so damn good!

On the other hand, NNNOOOOOOOO NNNOOOOOTTTT SSSHHHOORRRTTTYYYYYY! Where's a cleric when you need one! Hopefully this is not the end of our Dwarven hero. Man, and drowning is like the WORST way to die... right after lethal injection of bees up the anus.

Buy it: don't wait for the Justice League of Skullkickers or Legion of Skullkickers or whatever Jim Zub comes up with next. I've read the lot and it's a fun fun book.
Anyone who thinks DC is bringing back the Silver Age doesn't know what the Silver Age is.

There is no such word as "persay," it's per se, two words, from the Latin.

My reaction to this comic can be found here: http://comicbookreactionshots.blogsp...rs-1-2013.html

This comic was overall pretty enjoyable and fun to read I find. My only problem, which is completely personal and not with the comic itself, is the fact that I'm not as overly attached to these characters or a lot of the events going on. Now of course this is because I'm coming into the comic very far into it, so that's why in my reaction I say Yay? instead of just Yay because I'm still not how good this issue is in comparison to the rest of the series.

However, I still enjoyed it and I may check out the rest and future issues as well.

How could I have been so foolish as to overlook this before?

I'm new to this characters but I gotta say it was the funniest thing I've read in a long time and really new reader friendly.
And I love their sound effects.
