Love this comic. I geeked out at having Jay Garrick name dropping Wally West and Max Mercury in today's issue. Nice to know they exist in at least one published universe. :-).

Loving the J'Onn and Batman side story as well. Miller is doing a great job with these extra characters.

Richard Stark's Parker by Darwyn Cooke,

Didn't like the show so much, but this is one of the hings I look forward to in my week. One of the best Superman runs I've ever read, side continuity or not. I hope they release trades of it, because I'd very much like to read it in print someday.

The next arc with Booster Gold and the Legion sounds interesting. It always seemed strange to me that there's been little overlap between him and the Legion, given that he has one of their flight rings. Should be fun. Likewise, I always thought that the Black Flash was an under appreciated concept, but Miller is apparently great at picking these overlooked prices of mythology out and making them shine. So good.
Looking for artists, know I won't find any. That blows.

Ran across those scenes with Garrick during a web search for Wally. Liked that 'other speedsters' were mentioned and that apparently Wally exists (or more likely existed) in that universe. Something, I guess. However, really dislike Bart's new look.

Speaking of WTF new looks....WTF is Batman wearing in that article pic? Ergh. Plus, J'onzz facial expression looks downright strange. I hate to contemplate what he's thinking of there.
To Sleep, perchance To Dream. The computer in Logan's Run was correct. Life after 30 isn't worth the trouble. Old age is a literal pain.

After Morrison leaves Action Comics, this will be the only Superman title in my pull list. I love that it's free from the New 52 BS, and that BMQ seems to have free reign to do as he likes (except when Stephanie Brown is involved.)

I'm loving the comic, so I hope a lot of guest stars will be appearing soon. I think maybe Argo will be the episode where we see Kara again (as she used the Legion ring in S10's Prophecy), but who knows.
The other big piece of the show outside the DC mythology stuff that was a hit with fans of the show was the various interpersonal relationships in the cast. There's the romantic subplots with Clark and Lois and the kind of internal fights between Lex and Tess who now lives in his brain. What's the relationship that you're expecting the biggest change from in comics arcs?

The challenge in laying out "Season 11" is that when you normally do a TV show, you know that at least you're doing 13 episodes or 22 episodes. So you can lay out how you want your character arcs to progress. For certain arcs in "Season 11" there were characters and character pairings that I knew exactly where they'd end up. But given the nature of comics, it's not as firm as knowing, "I've got 22 stories to tell" so there's been ebb and flow for what I can do and when. Where the season will get to is building up the legit Superman/Lex Luthor relationship as a twisted mirror version of the friendship Clark and Lex had growing up. We'll get there.

Aside from that, by the time "Haunted" ends, it will shift the paradigm for all of our couples in the series. We'll see those ramifications play out over the next few episodes, but especially three arcs from now we'll have a very heavy Superman/Lex story. We'll revisit that with a vengeance after we've gotten a few more episodes out of the way.
This sounds interesting, and a bit scary.

I'm loving this episode/arc so far and how Bart is revealed to be Smallville Barry Allen and takes the Flash Mantle(or Jay Garrick hands in to Bart) at the end because to me all the signs pointed to it on the show through his episodes, files, mentions, etc, some were done by Bryan Q Miller's episodes(Bart being able to vibrate through walls, Bart shaving his hair back to the "Run" short blonde hair look , Bart and Clark dealing with a crisis in Keystone in Hex and Toyman file about Impulse in "Prophecy" saying Bart's hometown is in Central City, etc) among other examples throughout the show. As for the costume it makes sense as an evolution of the Smallville Impulse costume(it also resembles the comics Impulse costume in a sense and BQM said he did based on what Clark said in Masquerade). But do hope this only for one "episode" and he makes a Flash costume.

Same goes for Batman costume. It fits in terms of the Smallville universe and would look better on the show in motion.

I think the tv show honestly would have benefited by just being like this comic right now. But they got stuck on trying to make it a romance story.
