I'm going to miss this series more than Tiny Titans. On top of their talent, these are two great guys... My family and I make it a point to hit their booth every year at SDCC at least once, because they're just so nice and so much fun.
Actually, is there any possibility this comic could continue without Art Baltazar and Franco Aureliani?
Don’t get me wrong, I love what they’ve done. But I just love the comic enough so I’d like to see someone else at least try to give it a shot to keep this comic going.
I still want a Tiny Titans one volume trade of all 50 issues. The Superman comic, while not terrible, couldn't hold a candle to the previous tome.
My suggestion for DC for the next kids line book:
Super Best Friends Forever!
Pull list:
Adventure Time, Batgirl, Batman & Robin, BOP, Earth 2, Guardians of the Galaxy, He-Man, Katana, Nightwing, Shadowman, Swamp Thing, The Ultimates, Ultimate Spider-Man, Worlds' Finest
If Art Baltazar and Franco don’t want to do this anymore, then wouldn’t you like to see DC at least try to keep this comic book going with a new writer and artist? Maybe Sarah Hines Stephens doing the writing, and Chris Giarrusso doing the artwork?
I’d sure like to see them at least try.
If you have to make a comparison, I will say that I personally like Giarrusso’s drawing of Superboy better than Baltazar’s.
