Default Would You Recommend Indestructible Hulk?

I was at the comic book store today and noticed they had back issues of Indestructible Hulk. I have not read any Hulk before and was wondering how good this series is? Would you recommend it for a new guy?

It's been very good. There's plenty of action in the plot and the art is nice to look at.

I've been trying to dabble in everything. I've read every Superior Spider-Man, Secret Avengers #1, Green Arrow Year One and Longbow Hunters, The Walking Dead (vol 1,2,3), and I just ordered Batman Year One.

I recommend it highly. The art is nice and I'm liking Waid's writing. And this is coming from a guy who didn't like Waid's DD.

If you like Bruce Banner finally acting like a non whiny little bitch and his big green alter ego then yes! Also Mark Waid is the writer so that should be incentive enough to pick it up.

I guess it all depends on how you view the Hulk then...as a character. I don't view the Hulk as a second-fiddle, virtually mute, genie-in-a-bottle to Banner very highly. But, I could recommend that character to "newbie" easily.

I definitley agree that people should read this book if they are fans of the Avengers Hulk though.

I agree with Hulk_Is as a Hulk fan, but certainly. It's got solid direction, cool art, and is quite good for variety's sake or people looking for more of Avengers' Hulk.

I feel the same way. I don't find him much like the Movie Hulk. They even stayed away from trying to draw him like Mark Ruffalo
