Savage Wolverine #2 Discussion/Spoilers

I loved this issue. I was semi-iffy (but stable) on #1, but with #2 I'm glad I stayed for the art, the humour, the peril, Man-Thing Mountain, Amadeus Cho (whom I normally find annoying) becoming a god to save his own ass. I wonder what the future holds in store? The Hulk maybe?

Now that would be great, love to see his Hulk in it.

Heh. I couldn't read Wolverine after the "non-bionic" bone claws and ESPECIALLY after the "James Howlett" malarkey. Oh poor Wolverine of the past, I missed what you once were.

That's the Wolverine I grew up with as well... But, as retcon's go, Wolverine's skeleton w/natural bone claws -- is among the few retcon's that's plausible and IMO, even logically, acceptable. On the other hand... Romulus, is a perfect example of a poorly excited Wolverine retcon. Thumb claws, really??
