''How do you find someone who has spent a lifetime covering his tracks? For some, he was a guardian angel. To others, a ghost who never quite fit in''
Glad to help. We all had questions when we first got into comics.
The Cap and Black Widow story is part of a several arc narrative that began with Cap and Hawkeye and went through Cap and Iron Man. Spread out over a year and a half they were not great (although the payoff was good). I recently reread them all in one sitting and as a unified story they worked well. So, I leave it up to you. Without knowing your budget constraints or tastes I can't really say whether it is worth it. All I can say is that I enjoyed it.
Have to say, just read the #4 that just came out and can't wait for the next one! Only question is, if I read the 5th volume/winter soldier, will I learn more about Zola and their relationship and how it all started? Because it's not that I'm lost in this series (far from it) but still obviously would really like to learn more about Zola.
Zola is a character in Volume 5, but I am not sure how much backstory he was given. He was also a character in the movie as I recall.
Wikipedia might be best for quick background. Even after 30 years of reading comics that is how I tend to do it. Most of the time no background is needed.
can someone explain the change in captain americas uniform his head gear is a a helmit in some stories why the change. And why does he not wear it in all stories .
He changed to a helmet in the first issue of the current volume of Avengers. He has used it since then in Avengers and Uncanny Avengers.
He doesn't use that costume in his own title, but it could be set before the Avengers stuff, or it could just be artist error. Hard to say.
