Very excited about this event. It's crossing over a number of X-books that have been under the radar for a while. It's also getting AOA Nightcrawler back into the mix. There are so many ways this could be awesome and I hope these three very capable writers maximize it.

Great to see these pages lean more closely to Lopez's style on X-Men than his slightly more whimsical stuff in Wolverine & The X-Men and New Mutants. The colouring is a huge step up from Date Night too. Looking forward to seeing his take on Dazzler and Sage.

Lopez's beautiful art really highlights how much I dislike Gambit's outfit.
It's like he either looks zesty and dated or not like Gambit.

Even if it is a misguided attempt to corral people towards the surviving title, I like that they're doing more with cancelled books than just dropping them cold.

This looks boring. Haven't Wolverine and AoA Nightcrawler already ruined an event story in the last twelve months (two in the case of Wolverine actually).
