I like that Eric has zero qualms about using his armor to its full potential to kick ass. Sometimes it gets old reading about heroes who hold back all the time.

When you take it down to separate parts they don't look that amazing, writing is from mediocre to ok, nothing really new as far as sci-fi concepts go and so on. But i guess what makes it enjoyable is that none of these separate parts are below average, this series just don't have a weak point.

I don't get surprised or wowed with each new issue, what i get is solid comic that i got last month.

I also like that this comic is about Conan in iron man's armor at heart, it doesn't try to be smarter than that and its very refreshing to see a fantasy/sci-fi book that doesn't try to bring some outlandish concepts that usually fall flat in the end.
    lots of dots

    That's a good assessment.

The only thing that is a bit lacking--though this is coming from someone who was a fan of the original--is a closer look at the man out of time aspect. So far, Aric hasn't had much time to do anything except fight the Vine, but after Planet Death it would be nice to see things slow down here and there to show Aric adjusting to the modern world.

This is true, and at the same time Aric is smart enough to ignore potential adversaries that out out of their depth against him, like the Italian (or any country's) army - his fight is not with them.
