This move is rendered useless due to my immediate use of teleportation.

While Apocalypse is teleporting himself and Wolverine, Darkstar took to the air with Gambit and shielded herself and Gambit. I understand Apocalypse is strong, but can one of his maces or missiles penetrate dark-force?

Again, if Iceman, Cyclops, BLACK BOLT, and more can do nothing to Apocalypse, I really don't think Gambit can per this strat

The cool, photoshopped image of Sinister tearing Apocalypse apart notwithstanding, I'm having a hard time buying that Sinister could pull off such a feat.

Keep in mind two things. 1) Mr. Sinister is boosted 2) Apocalypse will have been drained, thanks to Cortez.

Before countering my Cortez arguement, remember that I have Sinister repelling Wolverine so he can't get close and slash Cortez up, while I have Cortez thrown at Apocalypse to drain him, regardless. Apocalypse can make all the maces and missile launchers he wants, but as long as Cortez makes contact with Apocalypse, he's screwed.

I'll be the first to admit that I was born in 1994, so I missed X-Cutioner's Song through Onslaught. At the same time however, Justin stated that it's all appearances UP to 1997, meaning that we can take into account everything from his first appearance to then. Going by that, and the fact he was given a 5, and I think we can assume he's at regular power levels. Even so, this is the guy that even when weakened wiped the floor with Iceman, Storm, Colussus, Beast, Archangel, and Quicksilver in under a minute

That's absolutely fair. Although if that is the situation, given your earlier comments about how invulnerable and durable Apoc is, I'd say he warrants a much higher rating than a 5, but que sera sera. I'm still thinking it over.

Also, if Fabian is Amping up Sinister, he CAN'T be draining Apocalypse at the same time. Since you wrote Fabian Amping Sinister first, that means that there's nothing stopping Apocalypse from killing Fabian, after which, much of your strat falls apart.

As for Darkstar/Gambit, I'll concede that they probably got into the air during teleportation, but that means not much in the long run, seeing as DarkStar and Gambit can do next to nothing to Apocalypse

How much can Cortez amp up a character?

Cortez can amp up a character to to the point a character's powers burn themselves out, hence the exhaustion after being boosted, if he wanted to. This usually results in a loss of control of the powers of whoever Cortez touches, unless it's a slight boost.

Not quite. All it takes for Cortez to boost Sinister is one touch, and my entire team all starts off at the same point. By the time Apocalypse and Wolverine teleport to where my team is located, Sinister will have already been boosted and be repelling Wolverine.

Considering that Apocalypse's power is complete control of his molecular structure, I fail to see how a drain or burning out of his powers could take place. For instance, things like regeneration of magnetism CAN be maxed out, but Molecular control? I don't see it making much of a difference.

Not quite. All it takes for Cortez to boost Sinister is one touch, and my entire team all starts off at the same point. By the time Apocalypse and Wolverine teleport to where my team is located, Sinister will have already been boosted and be repelling Wolverine.

Assuming this DOES go through, Sinister is repelling Wolverine AND throwing Fabian and Apocalypse. Considering my first move has Apocalpyse killing Fabian, you basically ARE letting me kill him. I don't think he'll be able to drain apocalypse while being killed.

Here is Apocalypse using a single blast to blast through Invisible Woman's shield. If he can do that, AND he has Hulk-Level Strength, surely Darkforce matter is irrelevant?

More importantly, you place the Darkforce around my team. Since they teleported, that would put it by Fabian and Sinister at the least, meaning I still kill Fabian, and there's not a damn thing Sinister can do to beat Apocalypse.

Here's Apocalypse tanking a full power TK blast from Exodus. If he can tank EXODUS, Sinister is nothing


edit: Just a quick note. These scans show Apocalypse getting the better of Black Bolt, Invisible Woman, High Evolutionary, and Exodus. Do you guys REALLY think Sinister can beat him, even when amped?

Apocalypse and taking him out was a tough feat and I almost considered picking him myself. You're a force to be reckoned with this league and I can speak from experience. Fantastic!
