GL:NG is my favorite of these books, so I hope the new writer - whom I'm not familiar with - can carry on with the excellence. I'm thinking Kyle as the White Lantern should be one of the more powerful beings in the universe, so I'm looking forward to that angle being pursued. And hopefully, after 18 or so issues, Hal gets to actually star in his own book.

Jordan's done well with the limited time he had on Team 7 and Deathstroke. I trust him for this.

    Robert Venditti (yes)
    Billy Tan (eh)

    Joshua Hale Fialkov (yes)
    Bernard Chang (yes)

    Justin Jordan (aw yeah)
    Brad Walker (heck yeah)

I have nothing against Billy Tan, but he's a fairly underwhelming choice to take over GL from Mahnke. Most of his books have seen unfinished or rushed, and I guess I don't find his style aesthetically pleasing. But kudos to fans of his work.

New Guardians is going to be a gorgeous looking book, though.

Thank God it wasn't Pete Tomasi. I hope he still gets a JLA related book. I really want to see him write BA again too.

I think Fialkov will be excellent at writing Atrocitus.

Wow, someone up there really likes Justin Jordan. This is the fourth book he's been put on. I really enjoy his work on Deathstroke, but I don't know if my comic buying budget or interest can stretch far enough to pick up GL: New Guardians. I wish him the best of luck, though.

I will most definitely be sticking around for Fialkov's GLC though. Very excited for that one. Over all I think these are some very solid creative choices for the GL line.

None of these get me *really* excited, but I enjoy X-O Manowar enormously and thanks to Geoff Johns Green Lantern has been my favourite DCU book for nearly a decade. So definitely giving this one a chance. Will also give the Larfleeze (Orange Lantern?) book a go - the Giffen / Kolins Larfleeze back-ups have been the best thing about Threshold.

Not convinced to add any of the others back in, though I'll be snapping up back issues of the GLC & GL:NG books under the current creative teams. I dropped them after the first 6 issues due to budget concerns though I did return for the Zero issues and stuck with GL:NG ever since. Bernard Change & Brad Walker are good artistic choices - Brad Walkers run on Guardians of the Galaxy over at Marvel was just beautiful.

Given Fialkov's work on I, Vampire, I was expecting him to take over Red Lanterns. I can't believe I'm saying this, but that's now my most anticipated book in the entire line.

Good Choices, but expanding the line at the same time GJ is leaving is a move I don't quite get.... We don't even know if the line will sustain it's four titles as it is.

Anyone know what the writers' views on what the GLC should be like are? (I'm hoping for benevolent Guardians and the "no kill" code back. Hal shouldn't be killing people, alien or otherwise.)

I hope not the entire point of the Geoff issues since Blackest Night has been that the Guardians are just bad for the universe.
