Default Does anyone anticipating Wood's X-Men read Ultimate Comics X-Men?

With all the anxious messages I see here, mine included, that can't wait for April...does anyone read Wood's Ultimate Comic's X-Men? I haven't, I only know him from him run on X-Men vol 3. On reputation I heard his Star Wars over at Dark Horse is good. It just seems funny that I don't see his work on that comic mentioned at all when he has X-Properties on a monthly basis still.

It's the only Ultimate title i've ever read and felt good while doing so. I love Mach 2 and her bitchy bullshit.

Nope. I've never been a fan of the Ultimate line. The only thing I like about Ultimate Comics X-Men is that Kenji Uedo--Zero--is still alive.
Thus do I write the first chapter of my new scripture. And the first verse is "Let it all burn."

It's good, although I'm side eyeing the last couple of issues.

Sorry, I like dislike Ultimate universe so much. Not even M. Carey with Pascal Fuerry on F4 could make me buy it.

I am really enjoying Wood's work on Ult. X-Men. It's the only title that interests me in the Ultimate verse. The Ultimates are OK but I lost interest and Ult. Spider-Man just doesn't appeal to me. Ultimate X-Men is very good and I can't wait to get my hands on X-Men.

I think pretty much everyone with a brain is anticipating Wood's X-Men. I mean what's not to love?

I was not at all interested before solely because of the artist...I loathe like Paco Medina's shiny-bright cartoon-ish artwork.
But I will be picking it up from issue #23.

Not a huge fan of Ultimate X-Men but I don't like the Ultimate line in general. Also the art isn't great. I do pick it up though.

Words can't express how excited I am for X-Men.

In Ultimate X-Men the women mutants have their rightful place as major leaders of the mutant movement. Actually I think female mutants basically run the X-Men (what's left of them) in that particular universe.

Ultimate Comics: X-Men by Wood is the only Ultimate title that's held my interest--and I've actually been rather intrigued with a few. The characters are so flawed, likable, and capable in such a harsh and intriguing political and more importantly personal world dilemmas.
