    Default PREVIEW: Hellblazer #300

It's the heart-rending conclusion of "DEATH AND CIGARETTES"-and the end of Vertigo's longest running series. John Constantine has escaped, cheated, narrowly avoided and even reversed death on multiple occasions over the past 25 years. Now, we will test whether the old boy has one more second chance in him. Don't miss this epic, oversized special issue celebrating everything that makes John Constantine so bloody unique.

    Full preview here.

You know... I love Hellblazer and Greek Street but Milligam has been pretty lackluster in the title. I kind of wish they had dragged Jaime Delano away from PokerStars long enough to write this.
...And does Mr. Goddanm Batman says so much as ''Thanks''? OF COURSE not. That'd hardly be GRIM AND GRITTY, would it?

I disagree, I think it's one of the best Hellblazer runs now, up there with Delano and Ennis. His John is really nuanced, and the stories are clever and entertaining.

I kind of agree with the last sentence... but I wouldn't say it's up there. IMO it's kind of dissapointing for the last Hellblazer run.

I took a sabbatical from A Season in Hell, and this Finn chap puzzles me. I'm thinking he should be some kind of John's heir, non?
I'm gonna get my hands on this final issue.

Be sure to read the last two issues first.

Quite like the basic structure of Johns' magic; it's all just one big con.

    Just finished it.

Kind of weird to think there's no more Hellblazer.
Avengers Arena is one of the best books in the shops right now, it's seriously amazing.

It's been a while since I read issue #291 but I just skimmed through it a few times and I gathered that it took him into oblivion...maybe <.<
