Superman gets a lot of respect, Batman does his thing without prep-timing everyone to death, Green Arrow makes you realize how sorely the real Oliver Queen is missed, and there's just a great serving of character moments throughout the game (although Wonder Woman fans will probably be left foaming at the mouth, and for once I can't really blame them). The fact that it's immensely fun to play doesn't hurt either. Highly reccomended, even if beat'em ups aren't your cup of tea.

Heh. I only watched the thing on youtube, so my opinion is only relevant to a limited extend, but I actually liked the one they did for the last Mortal Kombat game better. A bit longer, more intense drama wise, plus the whole plot was actually pretty clever-especially if you're a MK fan-....
Still, this one wasn't half bad I'm a bit disapointed in Evil Superman being portrayed as, well, evil instead of just a ruthless well intentionned extremist. (the way he murdered Captain Marvel was hilarious though, especially his bored "anyone else" after the fact).Wonder Woman in general gets very little. In general, I kinda feel the fact it's a multiverse story makes the whole lose a bit of its impact, and in general, the story would actually have worked just the same with an "Injustice Syndicate" type of deal (especially since it is ambiguous if it's a separate universe where things are different from the start, or one where things are different due to one event changing everything.
With that said, the last last chapter where Superman kicks everyone's ass in a row was all kind of awesome.
Overall, I just don't think I will buy this game. Not in the near future, at least. I have other stuff to buy before that.

Although there was quite a bit of ambiguity overall, the Lex in this universe had always been Superman's friend - so that's quite different in itself (although, those two working together should have changed the world (for the better) long before Joker 'forcing' Superman to, in my opinion).
