Actually, it's not subjective. If you can relate to them, characters aren't interesting.

    3) M: As poor as her characterization has been lately, she has been consistently starring in a book at least...
    4) Husk: I shed a Roma tear for her and her fans.

You are pretty much spot on there! And Roma tear indeed.

I would say Monet is doing best being that shes in a book on the regular for a really long time. But wait...shes dying? And Jubilee is cured of her vampirism? And I am pissed about Husk. Shes one of my favorites and I can't believe that Aaron started building up to a story only to drop it like that.

It would be nice to touch up on that because that's the one sympathetic aspect most readers have for Monet- is that she thinks she's a horrible monster on the inside. How because she's "perfect" there's ZERO joy in the world and all of her relationships, no matter how close are plastic and artificial. It would make sense for Chamber to be the only one that sees her for what she really is.

Anyhow, Jubilee is the Moonstar, the badass.
    Chamber is the Karma
    Monet is Wolfsbane
Husk (who is getting robbed of story right now) is Warlock. Which is a pity because she has so much potential to be an iconic character.
    Penance is Magma

    good thread is good.
I live for your take on Monet. If they wrote her like that I would read Xfactor.

Poor husk, far and away the best among the Guthries. I don't mind her being crazy, I mind that they booted her without tying anything up.

So that's why you like Sage? That's simply not true. You can like a character and even relate to them fan find them compelling. That's why Scott has even become popular or for that matter folks like Spiderman.

It pains me to say I couldn't vote for my favorite on the list: Husk. - Who has been written away and shat upon profusely - is till number three ( on that list anyhow).

I voted jubilee, sine I think briancwood will take her to A-List material with his new book.

Monet would have been choice #2.

Husk was amazing in Generation X, but no writer since then has recognized her intellect or her potential as far as I know. She was Angel arm candy and now I guess she's a broken Toad girlfriend.

I kind of hope Husk shows up in Uncanny. Her powers are on the fritz, her only remaining teacher is already there and her sojourn at Wolverine's school ended with some hard feelings. Kitty did make a point of mentioning that Husk was one of Emma's students after she quit so maybe there's something there. Or maybe delusions.

I just really miss Paige, you guys.
