The same serum that created freakin' streetlevel-heroes should be strong enough to beat the fuckin' Molecule Man?
This is just not believable at all.
And it might not actually be believable. The Void ended up saying a lot of things which contradict previous versions of Sentry's origin.

Honestly, I think the Sentry is somewhat like Joker. Because of the mentally unstable nature of the character, I think they keep giving us different versions of the characters origin to sort of keep you guessing.

    Jesus christ.

I'm from Scotland and we have our fair share of junkies and honestly it sort of explains the power of a million exploding suns thing, It's not that impressive. Our Junkies do that too

    That is awesome.

Who else ever took that serum besides Robert Reynolds?

It was linked to the super soldier serum. It was basically the SSS x a billion.

Yeah, I recall there being a link, but I don't believe anyone ever took the incarnation he did. Besides, that was according to The Void and Ultimate Hulk used a super version of the super soldier serum so amping that thing up hardly gives the same results.

Ultimate isn't 616. They don't have to be the same.

I think 99% of comicdom is glad that character is dead. As for his power level, Bendis said in an interview that Sentry is basically a lying delusional nutjob, and maybe he isn't as powerful as he seems or believes. I can't find the link right now, but it was interesting.

I don't really share the amount of dislike people have towards the character just because he's been somewhat mishandled or whatever the problem may be.

I suppose he does work better as a villain if you were to bring him back but I latched more onto Robert's constant struggle with the Void to maintain his sense of self as well as keeping an actual balance to everything. The psychological aspects of the character are the most interesting parts about him and how he deals with it, at this point there's no more Lindy so there's nothing else to ground him although maybe you can do it with his dog and his sidekick Scout.

I do sort of wonder what happened to his side kick and his dog.

They obviously got tired of his BS and pull a "dish & spoon" on his demented ass.

No Serum created by humans should ever be that powerful.

Hulk beating the likes of Thor and Onslaught is already debatable, but Captain America-serum times a billion does NOT equal Galactus, not to talk of Molecule Man.
    Not even 0,00001 %.

Why not? It's superhero comics. You can't apply real world logic to any of this.

Spider-Man got bit by a radioactive spider then developed spider powers. Deadpool was injected with Wolverines DNA and develops an even more powerful healing factor. How are those things more acceptable than what happened to Sentry? Because Sentry can blow up planets? Just ignore the powers. Superpowers don't tell stories, the characters, the people that have the superpowers, they are where the story potential comes from.

And the potential for story telling it brings is interesting. How does an average man, who is pretty flawed, react to the revelation that he has the power of a God? It could have made for interesting story telling in the hands of a writer who gets that sort of stuff. Unfortunately, Brian Bendis doesn't get that sort of stuff.

Yeah, and Reed Richards shoulnt be able to invent or build anything more technologically sound then maybe a flying car? Your logic is weak. This is comics for goodness sakes.

    So we should excuse anything?
Yeah it is comics, but even within comics there should at least be a little consistency.

Let's introduce a fat teenager next, who eats a radioactive polluted Hamburger and transforms into Heavy Nerd, a guy who can tank the Odin Force with his belly and burp away the Multiverse.
    Who cares, it's just comics....

All of his mini's were absolutely awesome. That was just bendis doing some character assassination so he could have a villain for seige. Also i think you mean ares
    RIP Spider-Man
