It's been about seven years since I've been into anime/manga and my interest got sparked again this weekend. I remember being a big fan of YuYu Hakusho, One Piece, Shaman King, .Hack, and Jing: King of Bandits. Are there any anime/manga you would recommend?

EDIT: Also remembered liking Rurouni Kenshin a lot

JoJo's stuff is good, I'd say start off at the beginning of the original run, while some of the later ones aren't full connected to it it's still a good time.

Soul Eater if you liked Yu Yu and SK.

I myself just started D Gray Man, four episodes in and I'm liking it.

For manga, check out Magi: Labyrinth of Magic and Sengoku Youko.

You should probably read Fullmetal Alchemist as well, if you haven't already.

Good anime? Looking at the stuff you like, you'll do no better than Baccano. Easily one of the best animes out there from its great and unique story telling, fun action, great animation and music (some of the best music I ever heard in an anime), fantastic dub, and probably best of all; some of the most memorable and interesting characters I've ever seen. I've recommend this series to many and watched it with others and not a single person has been disappointed by it. You should totally see it.

Baccano is indeed awesome. Though, it's told completely out of chronological order. You might want to be prepared for that going in.

Pretty much any Gundam series with the exception of G Gundam and I actually havn't gotten to Gundam AGE yet so avoid that.

For shorter series Innocent Venus (12 eps) and Soukou no Strain (13 eps.)

If for some reason you don't want mecha then Claymore (26 episodes) of Elfen Lied (13 episodes) or Blood+ (50 episodes.)

Dance in the Vampire Bund was also brilliant as an anime but better as manga (as far as I have read so far.)
