I was thinking the same thing after my second read through. We just assume Doc Ock won and Peter lost. This could be a logical fallacy. I am looking forward to Issue 10.

DD 25 was the best one yet IMHO, so if 26 is even better, I'd be thrilled. It was kind of sad to see Marcos Martin and Paolo Rivera leave so early, but damn, Chris Samnee is good. And Mark Waid just has that ability to pull me into a story from the first sentence, not even thinking much about what goes on behind the scenes.

My favs right now would be Daredevil, Indestructible Hulk, All-New X-Men, Batman, Scarlet Spider and Batman Inc. Slott's Spider-Man, Avenging by Yost, Flash Batman & Robin, Uncanny X-Men, Guardians of the Galaxy are also good, and I've liked the two latest issues of Uncanny Avengers. Phew! Quite a pile! And then I haven't even mentioned that Adventures of Superman is promising (Samnee!!!)
Oh yeah, I am loving All-New X-Men right now as well; I liked Waid's start on Hulk but it's lost a little something of late---I will still keep on reading it though. And yes, I totally agree on how good Samnee's stuff is on DD! I first saw Samnee on Cap & Bucky which I dug but his stuff on DD is on another whole level of awesome!

DD will soon guest star in Hulk, so I'm looking forward to that. Samnee also did great stuff on the Rocketeer together with Mark Waid. That pair really kicks ass! All-New X-Men is kinda fun, because I was tired of Bendis, didn't enjoy his Avengers stuff at the end, so I was pretty negative about him doing X-Men. But then I thought about that he has a style that in some way is pretty similar to Chris Claremont, that they both make pretty wordy comics with lots of focus on characters, so I gave it a shout and wound up loving the title! I hope I will be able to enjoy Slott's Spider-Man as the time passes by.
