Here is a question for all of you:

If Rogue no longer possesses her Ms Marvel powers/physiology/memories - this essentially make her a normal human in terms of physical strength with whatever moderate martial skills she has been able to pick up over the years.

If this is the case than she is physically a normal human with only her mutant powers of absorption - why doesn't she touch each of her teammates before going into battle or any situation since her touch no longer causes any side effects and she can control her abilities - better to be safe than splattered.

As she is being portrayed in the series it is amazing she is still alive given the level of destruction that was caused in the first arc and various other issues.

What he is saying is why not already have some of her teammates power, rather than asking to use one of her teammates power when something happens.
In other words why not be already prepared, so she can just leap into battle.
