It DOES sound like they're being more explicit about it, though. His design was certainly more androgynous than before, which is great. Really, I'm most excited about the acknowledgement of this aspect of Wotan because it means we're more likely to get the transgendered version of the Ultra Humanite down the road. Which is the coolest version of the character and would be awesome to see updated!



She's technically only the new person in the role Batman had in the universe. World's greatest detective, bit of a dick to her friends but with good intentions, knows everybody, kicks ass. This new Batman will have to find his own niche different t that which Bruce Wayne did. Anything's possible, and that's very exciting! Hell, he could be the represntitive of the Red for all we know!

As for the rest of the podcast information... yessssssss! It all sounds fantastic! I love this book and it's world so much!

I hope they don't introduce a love interest for Green Lantern. It feels like whenever they introduce gay characters, the gay character always immediately finds "the love of their life" and they start full blown making out before any build up occurs. I want to see a gay character enjoy the single life for while... a LONG while.

Another interesting point brought up in the podcast was about Robinson's efforts to make each of the Earth 2 characters a kind off 'merger' of multiple previous incarnations of the character; something which he has repeatedly brought up. According to him, the new E2 Jay is a mix of the young Golden Age Jay as well as an early Wally West (at least personality wise!)

Still holding onto that 1% of hope that Earth 2 Dick Grayson still exists and it might be him putting on the cowl again. But Robinson is a talented writer and has a really good vision for what he wants to do with Earth 2, so no matter who it is I am sure he will use them well.

Hoping the new Batman is Dick Grayson. I don't mind the new Dr Fate not being Kent Nelson. It makes more sense for him to be from Egypt. And he still has Kent involved in some way.

I still want PG & Huntress back on E2. Have them start up their own team separate from the JSA.

I'm not thilled about Batman. I really liked that Earth 2 no longer has Superman, Batman or Wonder Woman, and was more about he next generation of wonders. This whole Batman thing feels like it's jsut being one for a sales boost. However, Robinson has done a fantastic job so far so I trust that he knows what he's doing.

Kinda worried about the new Batman. The Bat characters have a tendency to take over and hog the spotlight. Hopefully Kendra doesn't get pushed aside since she's supposed to be occupying the "Batman role."
I think it would be interesting if this Batman was much younger and slightly unsure of himself. The way Terry McGuiness was at the beginning. In awe of the other Wonders.
