Holy Moley, look at that Weaver art.
I know Kevin Nichols through a guy that knows a gal. Small world!

Glad to hear that Ka-Zar will finally be making an appearance somewhere. With all the Savage Land based stories currently going on (Wolverine and X-Men, Savage Wolverine, upcoming Avengers) and him not co-featuring at all I was starting to get worried about his standing at Marvel.

Ew. I think they are going to go with a Havok and Scarlet Witch romance. The idea of him hooking up with Wanda after dating and being engaged to her younger sister is creepy as hell. Also you could argue that's she's in part responsible for the death of Alex's father. Creepy.

    Right!
They are certainly making it difficult for me to adhere to my "no 3.99 double-shipped books" policy.

Kiel Phegley: Axel, with our fan Q&A for the day I thought I'd start us out on some queries that focus on that even mystifying connection between Marvel Comics and Marvel Studios. Chariset starts us off with this: "To what extent do you use movies as a sounding board for what will work with a character? If the Doctor Strange movie comes out and Strange is a teenager with heavy eyeliner and a lot of tattoos, and it makes money, will you think 'oh, THAT'S how we write Strange'?"

Axel Alonso: That is definitely not how we do it, Chariset. If Marvel NOW! proved one thing, it’s that we put premium stock in our writers. “Avengers” reflects the vision of Jonathan Hickman, not Marvel Studios. And the same is true down the line.
Right. Nick Fury looking just like he does in the movies now is COMPLETELY a coincidence. Completely. Really. Seriously. Guys?

Alonso: Can’t say much about the Vision until "Age Of Ultron," vin31. But we’ve not forgotten about the android Avenger by any means.
Hopefully someone will remind you he's a synthezoid, not an android. God, I hope Bendis doesn't just kill him off against in AoU.

Only seven questions? That seems awfully short.

Banner, most likely. The armor is supposed to be for his benefit when not Hulked out.

Well, they are doing a retreat right now, so I can forgive the brevity.
