My all time favorite comic artist. Have meet him a few times at various signings and he's super nice with the fans as well. Hope he stays on Invincible for as long as they put it out.

Its really funny for me, because I was reading Digital Webbing Presents and Ottly's Ted Noodleman strips when he got scooped up to do Invincible (a title I was already reading). So its been really neat to watch his career. Even when his 'career' is basically these two things.
He should go back and do some more Ted Noddleman at some point.

That article had a great cliffhanger. Let's hope Kirkman is still alive.
And hell yeah Ottley is amazing. To me his style is really impressively detailed in Invincible as is, that guy is a monster (in a good way).
DROKK IT!!
I remember Ottley back from the glorious times of Digital Webbing. He used to post there regularly, and even back then I knew he would make it. Glad it turned out so well. He, together with Greg Capullo, are my favourite artists.
I truly hope he stays on Invincible, because he is the only reason I started with the book.
By the way, he deserves much more recognition, one of the best artists currenty, totally omissed by many people here.
Ryan Ottley is a tremendous talent. My favorite modern artist for certain. I have some Invincible original art from him, two pages that when I saw them I wanted them. Not a Grayson page, fight scene, etc. But the cool debut two page spread of a few mainstay villains: Battle Beast, Kursk, Magnattack, Furnace, Tether Tyrant, Magmaniac from Invincible #19. Love those pages!
"With Green Lantern, it's easy to see now that characters don't go stale, the creators do. Get the right writer and artist on the book and success is always possible. - CBR member Brett Tolino"
Simply fantastic artist. I love the Invincible comic and Ryan gets a hefty chunk of that love.
...but when are we getting the Invincible Television show? Or would the budget simply be too big?
The best hope would be animation. But you got the two biggest content providers locked up with the Big Two. And then you would have to rework some of the violence to make it kid friendly. Personally, I would hope for an animated series rather than the movie.
And on the topic of Ottley, brah is probably my favorite artist up there with Stokoe, Bachalo and Reis.
I really like his art a lot. I have some original art from him. He'd probably burn it, as it's some of the older stuff. Very nice guy too. I've talked to him at various local signings in Utah and I think I have from 8 to 70 of Invincible signed by him.
Today, I make no demands... no threats! But, one day, I shall voice demands -- and all shall obey them!
luv his work.
There was, indeed, one print collection of the series. Thin thing, like a $6 book, really. I forget the details on who published it, though.
Oh, wait, duh, Amazon:

@capuga
I'd send you mine as a gift, but international shipping costs would be more expensive than buying from Amazon.
Anyway, the story is mildly funny, but Wya's art is great. Different to Invincible though.
