I find this is a bit backward, really. I've often thought Punisher's natural inclination would be to try to kill Deadpool, not the other way around.
LOL. You're right about that. Frank usually wants to kill him, especially when Deadpool is being . . . well, himself. I wouldn't be surprised if sometime during the course of the book, Frank unloads a round or two into Deadpool's head when he gets on Frank's last nerve. But I think after the events in Deadpool: Suicide Kings, he probably realizes that Deadpool can be a decent teammate, provided he stays focused. He might be able to keep his inclination in check.
As far as this reversal of feelings? I can't wait to see why and how that plays out.
Obviously they haven't had enough interaction for us to tell yet, but part of me is thinking that Deadpool may be feeling more protective than jealous.
See, this right here is why I hate Thunderbolts to a degree. We get a good interview, amazing covers, and I start thinking about how great things could be. Then I get the issue.
haha I was about to say the same thing. The covers are amazing then you pop the cover and the artwork looks like fan art from Deviant art and the story has been a bit.. slow. I am in the camp anxiously awaiting Phil Noto to take on the art duty.
