My one concern is I'm wondering how accessible this will be. I haven't been following the serious, but I'm very interested in the story especially with Santolouco coming on full-time.
Why aren't you reading Winter Soldier? You should be!
and drawn by new regular artist Mateus Santolouco
At this point I started vibrating with excitement!

IDW: TMNT, MTMTE, G.I. Joe
Dynamite: Pathfinder
Red 5: Atomic Robo
Marvel: Thor: GoT, JIM, Powers, Scarlet Spider
I totally just now squealed like I was a 5 year old reading the exclusive!!!!! I am very happy that Mateus is the new ongoing artist!
I highly recommend going back and reading the previous issues, but really all you need to know is that Shredder has his sights on Leonardo to join him as his right hand guy, that's really the only big thing that's been set up for this thus far. I will say that this book has a lot of plots going on (though I'm not sure how many side plots they'll keep running through these issues), but if you're familiar with the Turtles they're easy to follow because you already know a previous version of the character and they haven't changed anyone drastically (yet!) for this series.
TNMT has been awsome from the start. Ths new arc has me intriuged. What on earth would get Leo to work with Shredder?!? I can't wait to find out.
Color me excited! I've been loving both this new TMNT series of comics along with the new TMNT show over on Nickelodeon although I've missed a few episodes. I heard that IGN.com gave the episode "The Gauntlet" the Editors Choice Award. Mateus Santolouco is the best choice ever!
