WB Games has released a new trailer for NetherRealm Studios' "Injustice: Gods Among Us," revealing Aquaman as a playable character and teases his role in the game's story.

The Sea King is a part of the "Hero Resistance" and is working along side of Batman to combat the regime. (Source: @AquamanShrine / AquamanShrine.com ) These scenes look AMAZING and I'm sure its no coincidence that they strongly resemble the current imagery being done by Ivan Reis in JUSTICE LEAGUE's Throne of Atlantis story line. Bring on INJUSTICE!!!
*** Also Aquaman is shown in one of a number of alternate skins in this scene.

Man I disllike clean shaven Aquaman.
He's supposed to be a king. So why not give him a Kingly beard? He looks generic without it.

I've gotten kinda used to the New 52 version of him but I agree, he needs that beard.

Just to play a little Devil's Advocate, when Aquaman grew the beard I tuned out. I don't need my Aquaman looking like a hobo. That was the only thing I didn't like about Justice League Unlimited (that and the lack of Hal Jordan).

Aquaman has a modern yet golden age feel from this trailer. The voice could have been slightly grittier, violent or empathetic and the tritan heavier feeling but still a tempting choice to play.

So...since I broke down and spent $ on a PS3 to watch the DC Direct blue ray extras, I've gotten DC Vs. Mortal Kombat and Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 from the used games bins, gotten the Lego Batman 1 & 2 pack, gotten Arkham City for Xmas, and now I'm on the look out for Young Justice and Injustice. I seem to like pretending to be a super hero...

Not really a DC fan in general, but I am looking forward to this so much. After they finish this, maybe Netherrealm can get cracking on that Mortal Kombat sequel...

Has anyone else been picking up the accompanying Injustice comics? There's five now and just 99 cents each. Pretty decent reads, actually, and they are getting me more pumped for the world Neatherream is creating with this game.
