I was actually also thinking emotions for Freeze, but then that would bring out the question, "How would Freeze challenge Bruce's emotions? How would he pull his heart-strings?"

I think there is something there though. I think it has something to do with the idea of "cold" since Bruce tends to be a pretty cold person.

Can't think of any specific story to utilize it, but Batman being emotionally "cold" only to face someone like Freeze may give him some perspective and perhaps help him empathize more and open up to those he cares about. If you don't use, I probably will, as I've been trying to shoehorn freeze somewhere into my massive fan-fic trilogy.
