My Indian friends give mad respect to this lady. Back in '09 or '10 she had the massive balls to straight up tell Pakistan that their tolerance for terror was not gonna fly anymore. Terrorist attacks in and on India have reduced incredibly since then.

She and Obama has done some good work in responding to Chinese incursions into the Pacific and managed to get a bunch of nations to agree that China was out to get them.

I think she had to spend alot of time just trying to get back some of the good will the US used to have before 8 years of Bush and his "fuck the world were America" bullshit destroyed decades of at least some cooperation with other counties. I think she did that to some extentant.

She got the Republicans to associate her with Benghazi, which was a good move (let me explain). When she runs in 3 years (and she is going to run) the Republicans have something like 30 years of Clinton baggage to pull out and have fun with. All kinds of shenanigans, legal and illegal, and blowjobs in the Oval Office are the least of it. If it hadn't been for all of that I think she would have won the nomination in '08. But to be fair if it weren't for Bill she wouldn't have the name recognition to win her Senate seat that led to her running, and then settling for the Secretary of State job.

Now you have the Benghazi situation, which I believe Republicans hyped up from an embassy bombing (which isn't unique in our history, casualties and security lapses included) and tried to paint as a Presidential scandal. As if the President ordered us to lower security and watched the carnage from a secret location (two things I saw "suggested" on Fox News). The only problem is, most of the country didn't see it as a scandal but rather the kind of tragedy that happens when you're involved in countries with religious fanatics and political upheaval. Look at how many soldiers we lost because we didn't properly armor transport vehicles (and soldiers were using scrap metal to reinforce vehicles, and buying their own body armor), or the soldiers Halliburton electrocuted in showers. Both far more egregious and scandalous incidents that happened under the previous administration, but these people so hung up on "four dead" don't seem to care at all (or enough to comment on it and call for hearings).

The second problem with the Benghazi situation (at least for the Republicans) is that they did buy the hype. I haven't seen them so in a frenzy since the Clinton/Lewinsky affair, and if this is what they want to hang Hillary with and make the focus of the '16 campaign I think she's in for a pretty easy victory. Especially if the economy rebounds as the experts believe it will by then. They'll still hit her with Bill's baggage (and to be fair, a bit of her own) but I don't expect most of it to stick when it won't be the main focus of the attack.
