    The Ghostbusters are gone, spirited away by some dastardly demons from another dimension! But spectral shenanigans haven't ceased in the city that never sleeps, meaning a new group will need to step up and don the proton packs.     Gonna be interesting seeing how this new storyline turns out with the new ghostbusters truth be told i never read the first volume IDW Series although recently i downloaded the first TPB on my ipad needless to say it wasn't bad although the ending was a little weak

    Looks good, so I'll be sure to read it. I would buy the trades from the original run that came before this, but 18 bucks for 4 issues? No thanks.

    they were $7.99 to download on Comixology...still four issues is too little

    Looks like fun. I wonder if this was the original plan, taking the originals away, and then relaunching with a new #1 featuring the replacements?

    I could be mistaken, but I thought somewhere I read Erik Burnham say it was a concept that came to him while working on last summer's "Haunted America" arc.

    actually he was originally going to feature it as the next storyline but he decided it'd be better to relaunch the series starting with the new ghostbusters storyline because he could use that to boost sales(He Preferred the idea of relaunching it to keep interest in the series rather facing a potential cancellation)

    after the first storyline ends the originals will return and the new team will disband(they could return if there's enough fan interest he stated but there's no plans in the near future to use them)
