All the main characters will have their own supporting casts show up from time to time depending on the crisis, including Colleen for Misty.

I bought this book hoping it would be a kick ass title. I was really hoping it wouldn't be a fan service type of book but with that kiss in issue #1, that's what I felt I was reading. I felt really disappointed. If this comic is just going to be about fan service girl-on-girl moments it's a huge waste of my time. I wasn't impressed, I was highly disappointed. I really expected more (because I like the premise of the book).

I still say that kiss wasn't fanservice. I still say it was a twist on a classic cliche.

I have no idea how the kiss is fanservice. Annabelle Riggs is a passionate, bubbly and excited woman meeting her childhood idol and freaking out of it and acting emotionally instead of logically. Tensions were high and people weren't exactly going to act normal, what with zombie vikings around. So, she was overcome by the heat of the moment and took a kiss at the sort of woman she probably idolises and sees as her, I dunno, perfect dreamy person or whatever.

Now, if it had been Val who, after saving Annabelle, kissed her like she was some damsel in distress, then yes it would be fanservice. Besides, Val is in a (weird) committed relationship (kinda-sorta) with Flash Thompson AKA Venom at the moment.

That would explain why Morgan why attacked Doom's castle in Dark Avengers the deadbeat wouldn't pay child support.

Considering Cullen Bunn said in a recent blog that he never even heard the term "fanservice" until people started saying the 1st issue of FD with the kiss was fanservice, I really doubt that was the intention at all. I also think people are really reading into that moment waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much. It was a kiss. I was out of the blue, yes, but it shouldn't be the only thing talked about from the comic going forward or how it effects Val/Flash etc... in the future.

any chance of Dani's adopted son making a cameo? it just seems weird that most writers pretend he doesn't exist.
