He obviously will never get what he wants to go through so why even worry what the hell he says. He already has gotten his money from DC. All your doing is hurting the character and the future of the book my not buying it.

Interesting, from a public relations standpoint, certainly. If you worked for DC-- and you were tasked to handle this in case the press (fan press, mainstream news, etc.), how would you handle this?

Apologize for the mistake, bury the story that he wrote, and maybe donate some money to some gay rights organization(s).

Most importantly, don't hire Mr. Card in the future.

accentuate the positive, hide the negative

cite his long standing published works, specifically the most successful being the Enders novels and that Enders game is an upcoming major feature

insure that while Mr Card has some views that are not popular, they will not affect or be reflected in his work with DC Comics

I love how the left officially endorses economic warfare against all social conservatives.

    Sounds like a politician.

But to be serious and you could look at me any way you want, all I care about is reading a good Superman story. If he is capable of writing a good story then go for it.

I live in my own life and for those I love, I never get into politics or issues that really don't concern me or those I love and even then I try to stay out.

I find I live a much happier life that way.

its not a probem with social conservatives...its a problem with social conservatives who actively seek to deny equal treatment to anyone who doesn't share their views or look like them

No just against people who advocate the overthrow of the govement, as Card has and who actively work to harm people.

Maybe because Iron Man at that point wasn't considered a major comic character the mainstream would care about since this was before the movie came out and Superman is a popculture icon.

I just found out that Card wrote the insults for the insult swordfighting section for the original Monkey Island game.

Personally. I'm have no intention to pay for his run anyway (since I can't buy digital comics anyway out of fear of hackers hacking into my bank account

    Oh horse excrement.

It's not economic warfare to request that a company not give work to someone who is actively working to deny part of the population rights readily given to every other parts of the population.

This is about people facing up to the consequences of their actions, not sanctioning someone for their opinion.
