Default Would You Buy a Scott Snyder Wonder Woman Book?

Snyder said he most wants to write Wonder Woman out of all the character's he hasn't written yet. He also said he's blown away by the current book. Would you be interested in him becoming the main Wonder Woman writer?

I would. To be honest, I've lost interest in the current runs of Batman and Swamp Thing, but I still think he's a capable writer who has the right sensibility to follow Azzarello and maybe satisfy people who want more superheroics as well as those of us who like what we're getting. I think Diggle would also be a good candidate for the same reasons.

Nah. He might be able to start off stories well, but they crumble apart so fast.

Whatever the next writer should be, impressed by the current direction of the title should not be one of them.
Superhero comic books only become art to the extent that their banal, unrealistic fantasy and garish styles go too far and become interesting. Attempts to ground them in reality can only ruin them.

Why? Wonder Woman is usually a bland, boring, uninteresting character and the current book is the best attempt to reverse that. It hasn't fully succeeded yet but we're getting there.

I'd pay $3 in a second per page to read Scott Snyder's Wonder Woman. Hyperbole? maybe but yes, I'd love to see him write our Amazon.

At least the fans annoyed writers are always getting rid of the Amazons can breath a sigh of relief when Snyder promises that his next epic arc will have serious consequences for Themiscyra.

Why Cheetahs? Athena's symbol is an OWL.

    Yeah, no.

At the expense of Azzarello? No thank you.
After Azzarello leaves on his own...there are much worse people who could take over.

I think the fans could cause severe damage to his mind.
We would have lots of centaurs, anyway.

I absolutely would. Admittedly I think DoF has been a bit on the poor side; but I very much enjoyed his other Batman stuff and what I've read of Swamp Thing so far. I also really like American Vampire. He'd be a great choice to follow up ion Azzarelllo.

Sure, why not, but I have no clue what he would do with it.
