I guess time will tell. So far I have liked his run but a potential ELEVEN straight issues for the same villain!? Has that ever happened in ANY comic in history? Has Marvel just decided to take decompression to the next level?

I don't have a problem with recurring villains, but you have to go away and come back to be 'recurring'. Potentially ELEVEN straight issues featuring just Gorr must be a world record for any villain.

I think Brubaker did fine with way more than 11 straight issues in Captain America with Red Skull / Lukin as the main villain.

Technically, Snyder did the same thing with his opening arc on Batman with the Court of the Owls.
Why aren't you reading Winter Soldier? You should be!
