Need to get on this book ASAP.

Peter Milligan should deliver the Batman I've lost to the reboot.

His current LotdK short is hardly a traditional Batman story but still pretty great. It's got the clever humour and an original take I usually associate with Milligan. A few years ago he mentioned in an interview a huge epic Batman arc he'd like to do one day, when the status quo of current major stories clears, and I hope he gets his shot. Best candidate to follow Morrison by far.

Just read the first chapter of this arc, I love it. The money angle is so simple, yet so untapped until now.

Milligan on Inc is the only thing that will get me to read that book after Morrison.

They've released all of the LotDk shorts so far in monthly 40 page floppy collections, typically about two months after they debut online.

I'm enjoying this LotDK story, too, but I'd like to know if Milligan has anything else coming up now that Hellblazer got cancelled and his runs on Stormwatch and Red Lanterns are about to end. He's one of those few names that can make me read any book, no matter how uninterested I am in the concept behind it.

Damn I just happened on this interview, not having any interest in non-Morrison Batman, but hell I'm going to be all over this book.

Agreed. Milligan is an instant sale as far as I'm concerned.

Definitely want to read this asap. Milligan on Inc- how come I've never put those two things together? Now that would be something I'd like to read.

For this 4 part series, how do you think it'll be printed once it makes it way to be a printed comic?

We've been talking about it on some other threads. It would make a kind of sense; Milligan wants to do some extended Batman stuff, and Marts actually followed up Morrison with Milligan back when he as the X-Men editor.

I love this man. His words and ideas never fail to give me something to bite, cherish or laugh.
This arc is stupendous and it has some great pieces beyond the main theme.
Talking with gas masks on in diner made me laugh so hard.
Witty hard ass belly dancers posing as guards is certainly welcoming, since I'm so tired of Ubus.
    Rescued girl yelling at Bats.
Positively awaiting for the conclusion and that Bruce marrying Alfred story.

I'm wondering where the conclusion of Milligan's arc is. I thought these LOTDK digi-firsts come out on Thursdays and have been wanting to read the final issue but it doesn't seem to be online yet...

As for Milligan on Inc post-Morrison...he did follow Morrison for a 6 issue arc of Animal Man after Morrison revitalized that book. Maybe it could work. I've certainly liked his current arc on LOTDK and let's not forget he also wrote what is considered by many to be the greatest Riddler story, "Dark Knight, Dark City." The man has some Batman writing chops...
Weird heroes and mould-breaking champions exist as living proof to those who need it that the tyranny of 'the rat race' is not yet final. -HST-
