Help to identify a comic book character

Hello

I know this is a long shot but i an looking to find a comic book character that i faintly remember.
I am not able to recollect the publication/name of character/series.
I had seen those about 10 years back but would like to read them again.

What i remember is
1. The comic book was about fictional character that faced situations and solved them using science ..in a comic way .. eg standing on a ground with
a high rod and getting hit by lightening etc ..
2. The book may be of European origin ..
3. Vague remember that the name may start with a P

I am sorry i don't remember much but still would like to see if someone and suggest the character which may help be find out the correct one.
Once i see it i am sure i will be able to recognize which one.

#1 sounds like the TV character 'MacGyver', but the comic book version didn't start until last year. Maybe one of our European members will recognize this. There's an ongoing 'European Comics' thread here.
