hm. Wiccan has annoying aspects, that's for certain. But he also has a pretty significant fanbase and, if KG is going to alter the character to make him less annoying or 'superlative' (superlative?) then he would be wise to do so gradually and not all at once. I mean it seems as though Wiccan's ultra-ernest, eagerness to please tendencies is what's causing the problem central to the first arc - which is likely to ultimately lead to further character development/refinement in subsequent stories. But we'll see...
