Hell yeah, i love wedge.As far as teasing the future, I hesitate to say much for fear of spoiling the surprises. I'll say Wedge plays a larger part in what's going on than you might imagine;

I thought it was based on Marvel saying they were going to start making Star Wars comics in 2015 and common sense. I'd rather see the license stay at DH, but I really doubt it will.I think you're making assumptions based on, well, nothing. Or unsubstantiated rumors. While it's certainly a possibility that the license could move to Marvel at some point in the future, as of this date nothing has changed.
Totally agree with the previous poster.
Maybe Disney splits it between both publishers, like Classic going to DH and the rest to Marvel.
i prefer DH too, they would take risks like Knight Errant and Invasion.

I'm trying to figure out why they showed off preview pages from something they didn't even mention
regardless, looking forward to new Legacy and Dark times in trade, will give the first Vol. of Woods series a go (hoping it doesn't have the intense liberal vent of most of his work) and despite being pretty let-down by DotJ v.1 i'll certainly give Jan and John another go...
What's the story with this other writer, he came from twitter? was he writing anything else??? I'm always a little leery of the story conceit of "something previously unknown that might be more evil/powerful than the Sith"

Why was Dawn a letdown?
He apparently blogged at Huffington and wrote some books. I don't think Randy would take such a risk unless he knows what he is doing.
I love the Rakata, the Esh-Kha, the Voss and al that weird obscure stuff."something previously unknown that might be more evil/powerful than the Sith"

For me it was that the book was more set up than anything else. John Ostrander and Jan Duursema usually hit the ground running, but this time they're taking things slowly. Nothing wrong with that, really, it was just slow.
Was I the only one noticed the lack of news about Knight Errant?
Free your soul and let it fly....
No, actually, it was based on a completely speculative rumor originally posted here. I say "completely speculative" because the poster says his sources are "The Suits in the know," which is another way of saying "Nobody actually, officially said this, but we're taking it for a given." For all I know, there were no anonymous "suits in the know," the guy just made it up because he knew it was a good chance it'd become true, and also knew if he broke the news first, he'd generate a lot of hits.
Would there have to even be a conversation on Lucasfilm's end to Dark Hourse, though? It would just be "Hey, your license expires in 2014/15, FYI. Just so you know!" Then Marvel publishes Star Wars comics afterwards. Which would put Jaxxon back into continuity, wouldn't it?
YAY - Star Wars remains at Dark Horse for now.
Double & Triple YAY! A Third Dawn of the Jedi book....
Thank the maker and CBR: I've been waiting on news of both the license and hopefully more Dawn and to get great news on both makes me happy.
Wake me up when it's over...
At least the Marvel rumors have caused Dark Horse to step up their game with the Star Wars franchise. I thought it was getting a little stale, but their recent stuff has been a noticeable improvement.
Would likely probably depend on what the contract between Lucasfilm and Dark Horse looks like. It's also worth remembering that it's not a given that the license will revert. It's entirely possible that Disney/Lucasfilm will decide that the steady licensing revenues with little to no risk or investment on their part is preferable to moving Star Wars over to Marvel and having to cover all the costs and all the risks in house. Or not.
