There will only ever be two choices because the two party system in written into the Constitution. I normally vote Democratic. They're admittedly not all winners, but at least there aren't any democrats that don't believe that dinosaurs existed.

I'm so glad people aren't forgetting the important issues when voting. Screw the $16 trillion deficit. It's all about the dinosaurs. How progressive.

I'm not American, but I naturally voted anyway, since the internets are indeed, global.

I vote for the middle GREEN, with a touch and spice of the Piracy-party. The US system of only TWO friggin' parties, are IMNSHO, utterly undemocratic and terribly unflexible.

But were I an american, and unable to chose anything else, then I would naturally chose the Democrats. The Republicans politics are quite frankly, viewed in my country as borderline extremist. They're fringe as all hell, make no doubts about. Pretty much everybody in Europe was shaking our heads when the Bush won two straight elections ( or did he?).

The NEO-CON Republicans are dangerous people, and they very nearly DESTROYED the relationship with many of their former "allies".

Dems have continued the s*&t storm in the middle east. We supplied rebels with weapons in Libya which then were the same weapons which blew up our ambassador in Benghazi. We have Hillary fake a blood clot until Kerry takes over so she doesn't testify in order to protect her for a run in 2016. When the media in this country is controlled by the left, it's no wonder people in Europe think the right is scary. Just remember, the left has had majority vote in the house and senate since 2006 (two years before "conservative" Bush left office). We'll see what the rest of the world thinks in 2016. We now have over 30,000 drones to be flying over the US by 2020. The left screamed bloody murder over the Patriot Act and the invasion of privacy yet has no problem with 30,000 drones flying over head?? 30,000!!!! That's 600 per state if divided equally. At that number, no matter where you live, a drone will be over head on a daily basis. You've got Al Gore selling Current TV to a bunch of oil barons and you guys are still partisan?!?! WAKE UP! There isn't a difference in either party at the moment! We are being taken for all we have and all our grand children have. Obama preached no new taxes (didn't "conservative" Bush Sr. promise the same thing? hmmm) for anyone under 250K in income. News Flash, that $20-50 decrease in your paycheck in January?? An INCREASE in the Social Security TAX. They've been pilfering SS for YEARS to feed their special interest projects. The fiscal cliff debacle won't affect your paycheck until 2014 so be ready for an even larger chunk to be cut out next January ALONG WITH the full implementation of Obamacare and it's cost including more premium hikes to your health insurance plan.

People completely trust every future gov't of this country enough to start giving them our guns so that the only thing which half-way gives us a fighting chance is gone as well?!? I can't take it. This is what happens when we have an entire generation of people where sarcasm and condescension are hip and cool. Keep watching John Stewart for the "cool" news. He's totally bi-partisan. You in Europe and the UK better root for the populace of the US. If they get us under their thumb YOU ARE NEXT. I live here and don't trust this gov't as far as I can throw them. A weak US POPULACE means a weak world. It won't be pretty. I don't get it when foreigners are for a US gov't which is growing out of control. What do you think happens when they exhaust their own people? Most conservatives in this country want a small federal gov't with more power given to the states. Most of the left want a bigger federal gov't with more entitlement programs. They do a great job at portraying us as a bunch of gun toting hillbillies but that's not the truth. We simply want our right to bear arms because that's what protects us from a tyrannical gov't. Not that we are under one now, but to give up arms would be to trust every future gov't of this nation and that is naive given the course of history. In order to take power away from the people you have to disarm them. I'm always suspicious of a gov't that promotes reducing weapons in the hands of it's people. Especially when it uses a chance statistic of .00000001 from a school shooting to say we are out of control. You need to re-think what you've been spoon fed by the media but you won't. Because they are them and I'm just a guy on a comic book website.

Eh, the republicans are pretty evil. Is every Republican voter evil? No, but their policies are going so far right and they actively hate minorities and poors. In that order.

The Democrats are better, in that they don't seem to hate minorities but they don't particularly care about the poor.

Edit: Also to the argument above that they are taking our guns for to prevent resistance, they don't need too. As has been shown in the ME, any country who is armed in anything resembling a proper fashion will absolutely crush a populous that does not have access to tanks and such. In fact the US history shows this, like in the case of the Bonus Army.

While there's some value in determining the political affiliations of Spider-Man fans, it seems that the discussions would get heated very quickly.
