Nope. Still the old one, but I don't think that will be corrected until #5. That's when the covers finally get it right.

Only complaint I have so far is Chase saying "yo" all the time. It's annoying, and I don't remember him ever doing it.

He only says it twice. Perhaps that's twice to many as it is rather dated slang. I haven't even heard a yo used in that manner (as spoken punctuation) since the late 90s.

And he's never used it before as far as I can remember either.

It's only twice, but that's only a preview. It's not too bad as of yet, I just don't want it to become a thing.

Other than that though, I love the darkness he's got. Chase has always skirted the hero/villain line. He's a perfect fit for this kind of book.

A lot of the Runners were like that to varying degrees. Nico has her attachment issues and extremely dark source of power, but Chase is currently the darkest of those left. His "The Fall" arc really cemented that, even if he isn't as dark as he thinks he is.

You might not like it, but they do it nonetheless; so Chase doing it is just an accurate representation. You can hate it, but you can't say it's not fitting!

Edit: I don't really care is Chase is an accurate representation of California youth. It's still annoying.

Maybe every time he's done it before its been off panel, or during the years his character was in limbo with nobody wanting to write him
