Kinda cool, though Wolverine just looks like Wolverine.

Wolverine (wow, what a surprise) and Star Lord seem to be the ones that came out mostly unscathed. I miss Wolverine's tan and brown suit. Nice to see it back. Considering it's Bendis, could the brown haired woman wearing Captain Marvel's suit be his pet Jessica Jones? She is supposed to be Carlos BFF isn't she? Hulk seems to have half of his body burned and someone took pot shots at the Thing. Cap became Nick Fury (but not Samuel L. Jackson, thank God!) and, aside from going back to his old suit, Strange is sporting some strange jewlery (I also found his face kinda Strange, but it could be just the artist's rendition). But, is that Cyclops next to Cap? Has he became Cable? What Happened to She-Hulk, Invisible Woman, Luke Cage, Emma Frost, Moon Knight and others that were reported to be central to the story (only Wolverine is there)? Very interesting teaser. Really don't trust Bendis to write these kinda stories well, but it did spark my interest.

    Peace

Well, it's obvious Steve needs to improve on his Nick Fury cosplay. ;)

    Wolverine always survives these things.
But I'm pleasantly surprised to see Cyclops there.

Odd that both Steve & Scott ended up with one eye.
Is Ultron just burning people & cutting eyes out?

Wouldn't getting new looks be a better marketing tool?

I'm guessing this is an after-result of Wolverine traveling back to the past and meeting the past Avengers?

I think I read somewhere that Age of Ultron was written well before AvX, right? I'm wondering since I think having Cyclops on the same team as Cap and Wolvie post-AvX could make for an interesting dynamic, but if this was written before then (and not since revised to reflect AvX) then we'll miss out on some fun tension.

...Or this team will have one issue of fighting Ultron before they are all destroyed, and there's minimal character interactions beyond "hit e'm hard and hit 'em fast!" anyway.

He is wearing his old suit.

But yeah... because of his healing factor he's not gonna be missing an eye or be badly burned or anything like that.

He was missing a hand in Age of Apocalyse. But he seems to be in relatively one piece here.

I suppose that's half the fun for a book like this.

If it were say Iron Man, Cap, and Thor we'd probably just kinda shrug.
