No, wait. It was just a big maybe <_<I've got plans for the Omega Men and L.E.G.I.O.N shows up in Larfleeze (not what you think). Adam Strange is too big a hassle because EVERYONE wants to do Adam Strange, so he's a no show. And as for Lobo... that's a big maybe because I hate the current version.

Finally got a chance to sit down and read the second issue, and I'm liking THRESHOLD almost as much as Kieth Giffen likes made-up slang words. So, a whole lot.
I think the book could benefit from a cast page. Or intro captions for the main characters. Something. Basically my issue is that with the characters being somewhat more subdued that superhero fare, and the world they live in being a bit more spectacular, they don't really pop. Blue Beetle stands out fine, but even Jediah Caul sort of blends in. To say nothing of differentiating between the big blond dude hanging out with Stealth and the big blond dude Caul met at the bar. I normally wouldn't complain about the density of a book, but keeping the cast sorted might be a chore.
The Larfleeze back-up is pretty great despite how terrible a character Larfleeze is. Giffen makes his ridiculousness work.
Kyle Reads Alpha Flight - A distinctly Canadian look at comics' premiere team of Canadian superheroes. Also: swearing and dick jokes.
Just wanted to pop back in to say thank you guys! I really appreciate the kind words! We're all putting in a huge effort on this book and I'm glad you guys are enjoying it! As for me, I've had a few health issues lately, but I'm here as long as they'll have me! DC's been very good to me, and I'm having a blast on this book!
This book is super bad...don't like the writer at all, waiting for the cancellation!
man, just reread the mainstory--and even though i didn't like it that much on my first read, i absolutely loved it this time around. giffen does a great job of creating likable characters, and raney's art is just so complimentary to the world-building that's going on. i really hope that this book doesn't get cancelled anytime soon because i'm loving what's going on. jediah caul is one of my new favourite characters, right up there with ogilvy in 'tec.
the backup remains to be colourful and hilarious, and i can't wait for giffen and kollins to launch larfleeze this june.
support this book, people!
Tom, thanks for posting. You artwork is terrific on the Hunted story. I think your art is a great match with cosmic/otherwordly; yet grounded, settings. And I really enjoy how you plot out the scenes on the pages. This last issue when you had Blue Beetle jumping out of the frame was great. It really screamed "action" to me.
Did you redesign Captain K'rot, Pig Iron, etc? I like them a lot. Who was the female character?

"With Green Lantern, it's easy to see now that characters don't go stale, the creators do. Get the right writer and artist on the book and success is always possible. - CBR member Brett Tolino"
jtd -- Keith gives me what he's looking for character-wise and I run from there. Basically the visuals are mine. A little back and forth with Keith and editorial and we're good to go! The female is Sleen. She rounds out K'Rot's trio. As far as I know she's new.
